Kendall & I went to see DCA vs FRA basketball games Friday night.
We’d been talking about going to see a Girl’s Middle School basketball game & we’d also talked about going to see Coach Joe Allen’s team play. Killed 2 birds with one stone.
DCA junior varsity girls team (7th grade) played 1st & got stomped by DCA. Kendall knew Brandy on their team so that was neat to see a friend play. It was also good for her (& me) to see the level of play that’s 3 years away for her.
Next was DCA vs FRA 8th grade girls. The tempo of that game was a lot faster & the DCA girls won the game.
The 7th grade DCA boy’s basketball team finally start & Kendall made it til half time before zonking out. 3 1/2 hours of basketball was pretty long for her 1st middle school game she’s seen.
